Hive Five is Mohave County Arizona’s first and only Meadery.  Here you have a rare opportunity to taste the ancient beverage, Mead (Honey Wine).  Hive Five has added a creative and modern twist to their mead with flavors like Mango, Black Cherry Vanilla and Chocolate Covered Strawberry, just to name a few.  At Hive Five you will also get the opportunity to taste up to 4 wines crafted from the oldest vines in Kingman from Wildcatter Winery & Vinyard.  All wines are made locally in traditional oak barrels.


Next is Desert Diamond Distillery, Arizona’s oldest craft distillery. Hoover Dam

 Built during the Great Depression, coming in under cost and ahead of schedule, the Hoover Dam is considered one of the greatest engineering marvels of the modern world, and is a testament to America’s can-do spirit!


Your tour includes a trip 530 feet down into the dam for a guided tour of the power plant, a walk across the dam (a great photo opportunity with views of Lake Mead, the Colorado River and Black Canyon), viewing of the O’Callaghan / Tilman Memorial Bridge (another engineering marvel!), a stop at a scenic overlook of Lake Mead. Keep an eye out for Desert Bighorn Sheep!


Then we’re off to Hoover Boulder City where you’ll have an opportunity to have lunch and browse some of the quaint shops.

 Even if you’ve been to Oatman before, our tour gives you so much more! Our Expert Tour Guides (or Legendary, as one of them calls himself!) will fill you in on all the history, plants, animals and more! 


We start our tour with a stop at the RT66 Visitors Center & Museum in Kingman, Arizona. From there we’ll take you on an exciting drive on Old RT66 through the Black Mountains – one of the most scenic drives in the Southwest (you can see three states from one scenic overlook). This winding mountain road will bring us the backway into Oatman.


 In Oatman you’ll have time for lunch and an opportunity to browse the quaint shops and feed the many, many burros that wander the streets. Watch out for the Gun Fighters! A great day with fun had by all!

 Van picks up in Laughlin, Nevada and will bring you to the historic Grand Canyon Western Ranch where you will get to explore the area for an hour horseback with a real cowboy as your guide. He shares stories about the land and will guide you up “Buffalo Hill” where you will also get to see a herd of buffalo.


After your ride back you will meet back at the Western Ranch where you will enjoy lunch and cowboy entertainment (included).
